Mr. Jacob Saunders-Devol, Choral Director

Mr. Devol is beginning his fourth year as the Choral Director at Godwin High School. Prior to Godwin, he taught for three years at Patrick Henry High School in Ashland, VA. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education (Vocal-Choral) from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a graduate of Hermitage High School. He is a proud product of Henrico County and is thrilled to be at Godwin! His favorite thing about teaching high school choir is helping to shape the big milestone moments, as well as the simple joy of watching students come together to create something greater than the sum of its parts.
Outside of school, Mr. Devol enjoys spending time with his family - his two cats, Coz and Georgia, husband, Catesby, and one year-old baby girl, Jane!
