Join Choral Boosters
and Help Make Things Happen!
The Choral Boosters organization was formed in 1991 to give parents, friends, students, alumni and faculty a vehicle to provide additional support to the Godwin Choral Program. Boosters contributes in many ways, including:
- purchasing additional music at the director's request, allowing our students to expand their experience and skills beyond that which is provided through the limited funding from the county;
- supporting the Show Choir by paying for their choreographer;
- raising funds for "big ticket" purchases to support the choral program, such as the platforms and the chorus room mirrors;
- providing programs for the concerts;
- coordinating fundraisers that earn money to support the program and help our students pay for their Spring Trip costs;
- supplementing the cost of the Spring Trip for our chaperones;
- hosting a Choir Banquet and awards evening at the end of each school year to recognize graduating seniors and recognize all our wonderful choral members;
- keeping parents informed through meetings, newsletters, emails and this website.
